Notes: This idea has been floating around in my head for quite some time, but it wasn’t until back in January that I finally sat down to write it. I felt a bit awkward about creating an OC. I tried really hard to give him a name that fit into the Final Fantasy VII universe. Hopefully, I succeeded…
In order to get as much of my cosplay done as possible, I'll probably only post one of these "old" fics a day. So, some depressing stuff today, some humor tomorrow, and then maybe some drama the next day, if I decide it's worth posting. Still contemplating revisions on the fic that I've been trying to revise for ages now. I'm waiting for an epiphany.

My Tifa characterization is iffy, and I’m sorry about that. I’m not used to writing her talking to anyone but Cloud.
I also discovered while reading this out loud to my sister, that I can do a Shelke voice that’s convincing enough as to freak out my sister.

Summary: Yusuke, Botan, and Kuwabara were sent by Koenma to the remote village of Nibelheim, on a mission to investigate a high demon energy reading in the area. They found Nibelheim abandoned, except for a few men in black cloaks speaking of a mysterious “reunion.” Our three heroes followed Yusuke’s Demon Compass to an old mansion at the edge of town, only to become separated inside!

Notes: I blame ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) straziante for this. The original idea was Hojo x Kuwabara, but that was way too creepy for me to even begin to try to write, so it’s more like Kuwabara and Hojo interacting. Sorry you had to wait so long for this, darlin’! It’s been a while since I’ve written Kuwabara, and my Hojo is still kinda iffy, so I hope it’s up to snuff. The summary is Yu Yu Hakusho-episode style, but the fic isn’t. It just ended up that way. I'm sorry for any spelling or continuity errors, or messed-up Microsoft Word copypasta formatting. If I think about revising this any more, it will never get posted.

I am blissfully unaware of the Crisis Core canon, since I am not-so-patiently awaiting March 25 for the English release. So, although this was inspired by Crisis Core, there may be some inconsistencies with canon or slight OOC-ness.

Every time fanfiction.net ruins my formatting, I wonder why I'm still on there. In the end, I think it comes down to three things. 1) I'm a review whore. 2) It's where I started, so it's hard to leave behind. 3)If I made a community for my writing, I know it would go totally unnoticed, just like my icon journal (which I haven't updated in ages because I've been too distracted to make icons).
Sorry the formatting is so weird. I copy-pasted from Word instead of from ff.net this time, so it's got all my tabs in there, but then it added blank lines. Weird.

I’d been toying with this idea for a few days now, and the other day I woke up at 6:15 because I couldn’t sleep and decided: heck with it, I’m doing it. There was something oddly cathartic about writing Cid, even if he was only in this for a couple paragraphs. And, I really have nothing against Vincent. He’s just so easy to make fun of. I suppose this is set sometime after the Gold Saucer date but before Cait Sith gives the keystone to Tseng. Which really doesn’t make canonical sense, but… it’s fanfiction?
( They’d finally come to an arrangement they all could deal with, at least for one night. )
